Inspiration: Seeing is Fuel
Practically thinking of projects in terms of their Energy Plans involves two things:
1. Inspiration
2. Collaboration
When taking about sight giving infinities at once, Caleb Gattegno was talking about the gigantic scale of everyday visual experience; size, depth, diversity and speed-of-change.
The obvious message being that the overwhelming diversity and scope of visual experience itself is a potentially infinite source of inspiration (a kind of wealth). In the day-to-day you can easily forget this, and we often do. -This weblog is a depository mostly for sights we've been fortunate enough to experience during those occasions when we've remembered to invest in gaining new ones. Sights and insights energizing and sustaining our personal reservoirs of inspiration.

Energy Plans: Collaboration
Energy-Plan is an expression boosted from Joseph Beuys. The phrase, as we understand it, attempts to give voice to the notion of wiring together human creativity (energy) via dynamic dialog. Beuys described this as Social Sculpture. We like that. It helps remind us to stop during a creative discourse and reflect on what is a pretty fantastic phenomenon. It also hints that creative discourse can be planned in a productive "circuit" or in a corrupt one. There are good Energy Plans and there are less good ones.
Most importantly it speaks to us about the exponential power to expand the meaning of original inspiration through active collaboration.
